AP Biology: Up close and personal with biomolecules

Huntingtin – The protein responsible (when mutated) for Huntington’s disease

In your first biology class, you learned the basic structures and functions of proteins, lipids, carbohydrates and nucleic acids. Now, in AP biology, we’re getting up close and personal! On Tuesday 10/6, we passed out a packet that will guide you in using a web application to view 3d structures of many of these molecules (see link below). You can find a digital version in our google drive as well. Note that I’ve put a lot of lecture notes in the g.drive for your studying pleasure as well!

*The biochem packet will be due on Tuesday 10/20 when we return from fall break.

*Don’t forget that Chapter 5’s quiz is on Friday!
